  1. I started running a year ago and while I had apple for years I decided to change to garmin. I dont miss the apps but I do miss the sleek look of the apple. Unfortunately I always scratched it at my job. Also the fact that it was mostly touchscreen controls made it tricky while running. The physical buttons and bigger font on the Garmin Forerunner convinced me. And I disagree on the price. Garmin has cheaper options than apple.

  2. My Fitbit dose REM sleep light skeep deep sleep and awake skeep i don’t know why your Fitbit doesn’t work properly

  3. i wear my apple watch to bed and it’s difficult to work with, but i find that if i charge it in the shower, im good

  4. Oura ring I meant 2 years not 10 years!!! Oops sorry!!! Also there people who have worn some of these models longer than me (as the garmin & Fitbit I only wore for a few weeks). So check out the comments to see some further receives on them!

Ps the garmin has a find my iPhone feature to 😅 The garmin community is trying to convert me ITS GETTING HARDER TO RESIST

  5. Fitbit and garmin are better with more use. I get detailed sleep info with my fitbit. I do think some of the newer ones require a subscription tho. I am switching to Garmin because of that and because i want to get into running.

  6. @alexiso7732 thank you for saying this!! I’m no grandma either, about to be 47. I used to have an Apple Watch to be available to aging parents during various crisis. As soon as it wasn’t needed anymore, I sold it on eBay. Now I’m thinking about FitBit for exactly the reason you said. Being connected all the time isn’t my goal now, especially while grieving. I just want to become more aware of self-care. It really is all in what someone prioritizes at their stage of life or with their personality. ❤

  7. Your info on the Fibit is not fully accurate. The Inspire 3 is amazing! It DOES provide sleep stages in graphic form and the benchmark for one’s age is amazing. You can choose what what you want to focus on. I switched from steps to Cardio. All this and more without any fees! This is a best seller and it’s clear why. Long battery life, too!!

  8. Big on the body temp/ BBT tracking with my smart watch. Which ones did you try that have that feature?

  9. Love seeing a Canadian girlie specifically a western one and visiting kelowna that is awesome

  10. Polar sport/fitness watches are for the win 🤌🏻 Always had a one. Polar is a Finnish company and they are pioneers of sports, training and fitness technology. You should @KeltieOConnor test one!! I bet you would love it 😍 All the best from Finland!

  11. I feel like fitbit has not been used to the fullest in this review. Fitbit has find my phone, skin temp, HRV, cardio training load (as garmin when you talked about the tamagotchi). They also tell light, deep and rem sleep. Most of the watches has buit in GPS.. so no, it´s not just a step tracker. More like an allround fitness tracker if you don´t want to spenda fortune on a tracker.

  12. For me the best it the whoop because I use apple watch since series 3 but I was getring very anxious after my bariatric surgery!

  13. Thank you for making this video. Very helpful! I love my Fitbit Luxe (and I am not a grandma). Been using it for 5 years. I tried an Apple and hated it. It was too chunky and I found all its features distracting and not as user friendly for working out- though I have been an iPhone girl since 2014. The newer Garmin sounds awesome! Might look into it as I started running recently and love it! The aura ring sounds neat too but appreciate your feedback to show it wouldn’t be enough for me. Keep stepping and thanks again for the video!

  14. Fitbit premium is part of a benefit of Google One so if you got ”GO” you don’t need to pay for that monthly subscription, you get it included

  15. I had a fitbit watch and immediately returned it because any time I moved my arm at all, even to brush my hair behind my ear, it counted it as steps. I also tried the Amazon Fitbit knock off and it did the same.

  16. Apple no longer has SpO2. They replaced it with a sleep apnea, which is far inferior to having the SPO2 this as a result of allegedly stealing Mossimo patent. Who knows if they will son the appeal and bring it back. But anyone with a 9 lw or newer will or have this. All other quality snatch watches have it. Shame shame. It stopped me from upgrading my Apple Watch after having 5-6 of them!

  17. *amzrepe* The service attitude is very good and the shopping process is very pleasant. I recommend it to everyone!

  18. I have tried Fitbit, Garmin, and Apple Watch. I went back to Fitbit. Garmin wouldn’t read through my tattoos and I didn’t like the interface on the app, and it was humongous. Apple Watch is great as a smart watch, synching to my iPhone, and it was cute, but it sucked at tracking my sleep, I had to wear it inside my wrist when working out, and I just didn’t like its short battery life and size when I could get all the same stats on my Fitbit Charge 6. I prefer the Fitbit app. And some of them will read through my tattoos, but the Charge 6 is small enough to wear inside my wrist and it’s not as clunky as the Apple Watch. And now I see my sleep stats and cardio fitness and all the stats I care about on a cheaper device.

  19. I love my Garmin because I’m not an intense sports girly but it tracks my calories, my intensity minutes and my steps, but the vivomove model I have has an analogue watch face so it matches my outfit because I’m also a fashion girly. And I purchased a metal band to fully remove the ‘sporty’ look.
What’s valuable to me is the look, the water proofing, step & calorie tracking.

  20. I’m looking for fitness tracker that I can preload strength training work outs into. Then while at the gym it has an image of the exercise I’m supposed to complete and it keeps track of the reps for me. Does this exist???? Help

  21. I think the best watch is one with a one-week battery, a sapphire coated glass screen, a titanium body, good looks, excellent run tracking, excellent sleep tracking, detailed recovery metrics, and basically every other pro that you’ve mentioned in this video for less money than almost all the other options.
It’s the Huawei GT5 Pro Titanium.
It just comes down to whether you trust giving your data to the Chinese government as much as you trust giving it to Garmin, Google or Apple. Oh yeah, and I can also ping my phone with it.

  22. I have been watching your videos just for a couple months now but you have quickly become one of my favorite channels to watch, (literally got me back watching YouTube consistently)
As well as my first fitness focused channel I keyed in on bc of your focus on female health!! I continue to inform my mom on everything (she is turning 55 this year) and we’re both so excited to be introduced to Stacy sims through you!! Seriously your passion on health and fitness has helped me see personal gains and I just wanted to say I can’t thank you enough!! A focus on women’s health and how it specifically effects us has been something I’ve been super interested in this year.

  23. Great rundown of the products. The other comment that I’d make is that Garmin has more accurate workout heart rate monitoring. Apple was wildly inaccurate.
